JC Driver Brett Kingsbury took the win in 1/8th Expert Buggy and 1/8th Expert Truck. We don’t want to get Brett in trouble with the IRS, or get any of his girlfriends to start expecting a gift, so we aren’t going to disclose how much he won. Brett ran Blue Cross hairs on his RC8T, and Blue CrossBows on his RC8B.

JC Driver Tony Pattishall TQ’ed the 1/8th Truck class, but could not hold off Kingsbury over the long A-Final and ended up taking second.

TRACK: Montjuich (Barcelona)
Date: 25 October.
Track Conditions: Wet (raining)

One of the great things about being involved in RC Industry is its international scope; we race these cars all over the world. JConcepts has been involved in the international racing scene since the early days with the BJ4 platform, winning far more national championships outside of the U.S. that we could probably count. It is always great to see customers around the world choosing our products to put them in the winners circle. The long hours of design and testing are well worth in when your customer on the other side of the world has success with the products.

Over the weekend, Agusti Salto was victorious in the 1/8th Buggy class at the 2009 Catalonia Championships, held at Montjuich, near the center of Barcelona Spain. Salto chose CrossBows in yellow compound, with JC blue profiled inserts, mouted on Mono wheels.

Product Release – 1/8th Buggy Bar Codes in all Compounds

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Unknown

The Code of Silence has been broken at JConcepts, and the 1/8th Bar Codes are out. The Bar Code design is the freshest tire design seen in the last 10 years of racing development regardless of class and scale. Like the name suggests the alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars provide uncompromised support for blue and black groove conditions. Available in yellow, blue and gold compound and with and without inserts the Bar Codes are a specialty tire that when matched to the appropriate track can provide amazing results.

The Bar Codes are a part of the JConcepts special breed of tire, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body.

Bar Codes in new condition excel on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. Worn Bar Codes excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a minimal dust groove has formed.
