The Punisher body by JConcepts for the Associated RC8b is the meanest, nastiest thing out for 1/8th buggy racing. Throw everything you know out the window, the Punisher separates itself from the rest of the bodies on the market with it’s distinctive styling.
The radical new Punisher body stares you down like a trained fighter. The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/8th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.
Features:
Original – JConcepts Punisher design
Blended wing / body design
Clear polycarbonate with protective film

All bodies are sold clear and are shown painted for advertising purposes only. Tires, wheels and bodies are sold separately, unless otherwise specified. JConcepts reserves the right to update or make changes to product, packaging or contents.

Event: 2010 Nitro Challenge
Race Reporter: JConcepts Team
The JConcepts team was out in full force at the 2010 Nitro Challenge in Surprise, Arizona. Ryan Maifield led the JC field with a 3rd place in the 1/8th truck class. Ryan’s weekend started off rough after some problems placed him in the B-Final in the truggy class but after re-grouping he bumped into the A-main. During the A-Final Ryan drove his RC8T-CE into contention challenging for the 1st and 2nd place position on many occasions before settling for a podium and 3rd place. Ryan’s truck was decked out with the latest in JConcepts gear including the Punisher body and Sevens tires.
Congratulations to the JConcepts Team on another successful outing at the Nitro Challenge.

JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals – Observations… by John Piant
Friday, February 12th, 2010
The “Show Me State” of Missouri, was the location of the JConcepts Winter Indoor Nationals. Smac Trac, located in St. Charles, twenty-five miles west of the Gateway Arch, is in it’s fourth year of operation, and is quickly getting, or already has, the reputation of a great facility. With a strong local group of racers, turnouts for weekly races over 100+. Some of the fastest guys in the region, call this home. Challenging, and technical track layouts, that are changed frequently, are just part of the draw, and a top notch race program. This made the perfect setting for the first race in 2010 for JConcepts Events.
But unlike a race report, this is going to be random observations. I am not claiming to have seen it, heard it, or done it all, but just, observed.
With any event, most of the faster racers from the region are going to come. The only problem might be the weather. With the forecast of snow, no one knows for sure. But it worked out. There was only a few inches. Not the five they predicted. I was looking forward to taking Jason out, and giving him driving lessons. Rally drift anyone?
Another problem is, what if Jared Tebo lives in your region? Here is your race report: Jared Tebo TQ’s and wins all Mod classes. The End.
First thing Friday, Jason up on the stand, looking at the layout. He says, “I sometimes forget how small of an area, you can make a really cool 1/10th scale track in.”
First practice session, track builder and SMAC man Scott McDonald yells up to the driver stand, “You guys act like this is your first time on the track”.
Big Hi-Five to who ever came up with the menu for Smac Trac Snacs, too funny.
